Relais Bourgondisch Cruyce – Bruges, Belgium

By staying at Relais Bourgondisch Cruyce, guests agree to the following hotel policies and conditions.
For cancellation, modification and rate conditions, please refer to our separate Booking Conditions page.

1.1 Check In & Check Out

• Check-in: from 15:00

• Early arrivals may leave luggage at reception

• Check-out: 11:00

• Guests must be 18 years old to book or check in

• A valid ID may be required at check-in

• Quiet hours begin at 22:00

• As a small boutique hotel, guests are kindly asked to respect noise levels and other guests

• Maximum 2 guests per room (strictly enforced)

• No exceptions for infants or children (fire safety regulation)

• Bed types:

  • Charming Small Room → queen-size bed

  • All other room types → king-size bed

  • Twin beds are not available

• If more than 2 persons arrive for one room, check-in may be refused and the full cost remains due

• Guests exceeding occupancy must book an additional room

• If no extra rooms are available, the guest must arrange alternative accommodation

• These rules follow fire safety and insurance requirements

• Accepted for bookings: Visa and MasterCard

• No American Express; no debit cards for online bookings

• A valid credit card is required to guarantee all reservations

• All payments are processed in EUR

• At reception we accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and cash

• Guests must present the card used for booking at check-in

• A pre-authorization may be taken to cover the stay and any incidentals

• The hotel may charge the registered card for:

  • bar consumption

  • late check-out

  • damage

  • additional cleaning

  • missing items

• Reservations of three rooms or more are considered group bookings

• The entire hotel is non-smoking

• Smoking in the rooms or inside the building will result in a €250.00 fine

• This amount will be charged to the credit card on file

• Pets are not allowed in the hotel

• The hotel has a limited number of private parking spaces

• Parking must be reserved in advance

• The hotel is not responsible for theft, damage or loss of items left in vehicles

• Only Standard Large and Superior Deluxe rooms can accommodate a baby cot

• Maximum child age: 2 years

• Maximum 1 baby cot per room

• Cost: €30.00 per night (subject to availability)

Guests are financially responsible for:

• damage to furniture or hotel property

• stained or damaged linens and towels

• missing items from the room

• smoking in the room or indoor areas

Any repair, replacement or deep-cleaning costs will be charged to the credit card on file.

• Guests who forget items should contact the hotel by email

• Items are stored in our Lost & Found safety box

• Shipping costs are paid by the guest

• The hotel is not responsible for loss or damage during shipping

• Items unclaimed after 30 days will be discarded or donated

• Underwear is discarded immediately for hygiene reasons

• Billing details (and VAT number for companies) must be given no later than at check-in

• Invoices cannot be modified after check-out

• Guests must behave respectfully towards staff, other guests and hotel property

• Harassment, aggressive behaviour or abusive language will not be tolerated

• The hotel reserves the right to ask guests to leave immediately without refund if behaviour is inappropriate or unsafe

The hotel is not responsible for:

• personal injury due to guest negligence

• loss of valuables not stored in the room safe

• external noise, city events or construction

• services provided by third parties

• damage or loss due to misuse of facilities

Guests are responsible for their belongings at all times.

The hotel is not liable for circumstances beyond its control, including:

• strikes

• natural disasters

• emergency closures

• pandemics

• government restrictions

• interruption of essential services

During such events, refunds or compensation cannot be guaranteed.
